"I think the best that state government can do is act as an agent to bring about change, and say to companies let's partner and let's clean up our environment, let's fund research to clean up the Sudbury River to get the mercury out so people can fish in it, let's fund research so that the buses that drive through cities don't spew black smoke that's giving kids asthma."
